Mobilityways is a purpose-driven business committed to transforming travel behaviours for the benefit of people and the planet. Along with its free-to-use community website, it aims to create lasting social and environmental impact.
Mobilityways was founded with the aim of making car-sharing as common as recycling. Over the
past 25 years, it has helped over 1.2 million members share journeys, reducing travel costs and environmental impact.
By connecting drivers and passengers traveling similar routes, users can split fuel costs,
lower emissions, and reduce driving stress.

Mobilityways also offers safety features like ratings and reviews, as well as tools to calculate
savings, making it a sustainable commuting option for both individuals and businesses.

​​​Addressing Travel Sustainability in Sport

Recently, the Birmingham County Football Association conducted a Travel Survey with Mobilityways, focusing on sustainable travel in football.
​
The survey explored responsibility for providing greener transport, whether better infrastructure (like bike racks or public transport) would encourage its use, and what incentives might motivate people to choose sustainable travel.
Feedback highlighted challenges such as distant fixtures and limited weekend transport, but also a willingness to embrace solutions like car-sharing.

These insights reveal key areas for improving sustainability in football travel.
